In my design process I use an interpretation of the double-diamond design model. Depending on context I use the most appropriate combination of methods.
Why is there a 3rd diamond in a double-diamond process?
Design for designs sake is useless - if your design is not developed, no one will ever use it. With the third diamond I ensure both business and users receive the best solution possible.
